Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy to help oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Manage preschool budgets, resources and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience of being a deputy or manager in an early years setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare)
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection legislation
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £13.75 per hour
