We are looking for a passionate Registered Care Home Manager who puts our residents at the heart of our care home. We're truly looking for someone who wants to make a difference and create a new generation of care homes that recognises our residents are still young at heart.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage a residential care home in St Annes.
This role may also suit an aspirational experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
We are looking for a motivated and inspirational Registered Manager that can help us achieve Outstanding Care for the benefit of our gorgeous service users to help maintain their independence with loving support in a family environment. The ideal candidate will have a kind, professional and very approachable personality but most of all care from the bottom of your heart for our residents like we do.
You should be able to balance being ‘on the floor’ with the staff and service users with your managerial role and be excellent at communicating with a wide range of people and organisations. Good computer knowledge is essential for this role and full training will be provided.
The Registered Manager will be supported by a full-time Care Manager, as well as benefit from peer support from our other two care homes Registered Managers, including a monthly Group Managers Meeting. You will also be fully supported by our Training and Quality Manager who is on hand to provide guidance and extra support during your first few weeks.
As a Registered Manager, your necessary skills would be: · A passion for working with people and providing person-centred care · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people, · Knowledge of CQC ensuring the service complies with all regulations and guidance. · Excellent care skills · Excellent written skills · Leadership and management skills, supporting staff to develop their skills and care · The ability to prioritise your own and others’ workload · The capacity to work under pressure and to take a problem-solving approach to work · Organisational skills · Numerical skills · An understanding of accountability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements · The flexibility to provide on-call support for the team We also expect the Registered Manager to have these necessary values: Adaptability, Compassion, Courage, Empathy, Imagination, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Confidentiality, Treating people with dignity
Essential requirements: · NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or above · Willingness to complete Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management if not already achieved · Experience of working in residential care home · Experience of Leading a team · 1-year Management experience · Full Clean UK Driving License
