We are running a VIRTUAL Police officer discovery event for potential new recruits to learn more about the route into force and the role itself!
Tuesday 1st September 6pm via TEAMS

The Durham team will conduct a welcome presentation to all new potential recruits with information on the application process, qualifications required, the different entry routes available, what a day in the life of looks like and what the different routes feel like from lived experience!
We will then have time after allowing you to ask as many questions as you like to all our relevant teams throughout the selection process:

PCEP Discovery Event Tuesday 1st September 6pm – Fill in form
As frontline police officer’s you will be the face of the constabulary supporting local communities, building relationships, and combating crime. It is a vital role and one that makes a tangible difference to the communities in which we serve.
You will join us via our PCEP route in 2027!
If you are unable to attend please still complete the form and we will send out the slides to anyone who can’t make it.

Eligibility – PCEP Route
To apply, you'll need:
- Two A Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent)
- A full UK manual driving licence
