Full-Time Delivery Driver
Multi-drop Van Delivery drivers wanted to join a national leading wholesale tyre operation. Delivering truck and car tyres across the network to our range of customers.
Location:
Biggleswade Depot Bond International
Shift: Monday - Saturday, any 5 out of 6 days, 40-50 hours a week
Daily unpaid 30-minute break.
Hourly Rate: £13.52 per hour and £13.52 overtime
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensuring a professional and efficient delivery service to all of Bond International’s customers.
Ensure you read, sign, understand and comply with the Companies code of conduct & driver’s handbook
Checking the vehicle before commencement of the run and after completion of the run, ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed and handed into the transport office
Obtaining signed paperwork for all goods delivered, ensuring all details are completed accurately. Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of goods in agreed timescales. Reporting all issues encountered while on the run as soon as it is safe to do so; this includes all issues with deliveries and collections
Person Specification:
Working as a delivery driver for Bond Wholesale, you will be the face of the company and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Be a punctual and dependable driver with excellent driving skills
Excellent concentration levels
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Full UK driving license – No more than 6 points
Excellent driving record
Multidrop delivery experience preferred.
Excellent knowledge of road transport network and laws
