Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both traditional and modern roofing techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including felt, batten, slate and tile.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling roofing materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation of roofing structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment.
- Physical fitness with the capability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
