Evening Support Worker (18–36 hours per week)

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Evening Support Worker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
About the Role
You will be providing person‑centred support to adults in the community, helping with daily living tasks, personal care, companionship, and promoting independence. Evening shifts run from 4pm–10pm, with flexible contracted hours between 18–36 hours per week.
What We Offer
- All clients based within Bexhill — no long-distance travel
- Paid travel time (average 15 minutes between clients)
- Paid mileage
- Working hours between 4-10pm
- Weekday hours also available for those wanting additional shifts

Your Responsibilities
- Personal care including washing, dressing, and grooming
- Medication support following safe administration guidelines
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to client needs
- Encouraging meaningful activities to support mental and physical wellbeing
- Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
- Managing behaviours associated with dementia or Alzheimer’s
- Supporting mobility, including safe heavy lifting and use of equipment
- Driving clients to appointments, social activities, and outings
- Keeping accurate care records and reporting changes
- Following all health and safety and first aid procedures

- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training provided
- Must be able to work evening shifts
