Responsibilities
- Monitor theatre entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct thorough bag checks and security screenings in accordance with safety policies
- Manage guest flow during events, ensuring smooth entry and exit processes
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Ensure adherence to protocols and effective teamwork
- Provide excellent guest services by assisting patrons with directions, inquiries, or special needs
- Maintain detailed incident reports, security logs, and communication records throughout each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience in roles within security or hospitality settings
- Present yourself in a professional but friendly manner at all times
- Strong understanding of guest services principles and the importance of positive customer interactions
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and proactive in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and guests
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or respond swiftly during shifts that may extend over several hours
- Knowledge of safety procedures, crowd control techniques, and emergency response protocols
- Prior experience in theatre or event security is a plus but not mandatory
