This isn't just another accounts role.
You'll play a vital part in supporting the financial operation of the business by ensuring supplier invoices, job costings and account reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently.

The Role
Working within our busy office, you'll become an important part of our accounts team, ensuring supplier invoices and job costings are processed accurately while helping maintain the financial records that keep the business running smoothly.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business and play a key role in ensuring costs are allocated correctly and supplier accounts remain up to date.

What You'll Be Doing
- Processing supplier purchase invoices
- Entering supplier costs and job costings onto SimPro
- Reconciling supplier payments within Xero
- Matching supplier invoices to jobs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with month-end finance tasks
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the wider accounts function
- Producing reports and spreadsheets when required
- Helping identify discrepancies before they become problems
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working accurately, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance or bookkeeping role
- Experience using Xero
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good numerical and reconciliation skills
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- A positive, can-do attitude
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Purchase Ledger
- Accounts Administration
- Finance Administration
- Xero
- SimPro
- Construction or Property Maintenance
- Social Housing
However, we're happy to provide training on SimPro for the right person with the right attitude.
