The Porters are responsible of ensuring the smooth daily operation of the Portering Services by continuously adhering to non-patient and/or patient transport policies and standards, as well as by constantly offering top-notch customer service. The chosen applicant will work for the Estates and Facilities Directorate division and accountable to Soft Services Manager report to the Portering Team Leader.

Responsible for carrying out the following tasks when necessary, including the delivery and collection of goods and equipment, patient transportation, linen and laundry collection, retrieval of medical records, collection of medical gases, blood products and sample collection.
Acting as a member of the fire response team, Cardiac arrest response team, missing child/adult response team, major incident response team, assist security officer when required
Moving all waste products: clinical, household, recycling, confidential and other, when working as a waste porter, in accordance with all relevant trust policies
Open/close clinics and open/close alarms.
To follow the predetermined planned duty schedule when delivering and collecting equipment and/or handling other service-related tasks.
