For over 50 years, we have operated within the historic Smithfield Market. Alongside this, we have expanded to a dedicated shop and warehouse in South London, supporting our B2B deliveries and online order fulfilment as part of our continued growth.
Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Customer Service Executive based at our Sydenham (SE26) site.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business, supporting both our office operations and customer-facing shop. The role combines administrative customer service duties with occasional in-person service, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming customer calls
- Managing and responding to customer emails
- Processing and placing customer orders
- Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally
- Providing product information and support
- Supporting general administrative tasks within the office
- Assisting with order coordination between departments
- Serving and assisting customers in the shop front as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming customer environment
Working Hours
This is a Tuesday to Saturday role:
- Tuesday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Flexibility is required, as working hours may occasionally change in line with business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly organised and efficient
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude
