Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and beverages according to company standards
- Provide friendly, efficient service to all customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling snacks and light meals as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and process payments efficiently
- Support daily café operations by restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is functioning properly
- Uphold health and safety protocols at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is highly preferred; a passion for coffee and customer service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Experience in serving customers in busy environments, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
