Due to continued growth within our Infrastructure business, we are looking for a Design Coordinator to join our Water team, supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects across the South West.
Working alongside Design Managers, project teams, designers and our supply chain, you will coordinate the design process from tender stage through to construction, ensuring design information is delivered on time, meets client requirements and supports efficient project delivery. You'll play an important role in driving collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, identifying buildability opportunities, and ensuring designs are practical, coordinated and ready for construction.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of civil engineering or infrastructure projects who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Coordinate the design process from tender through to construction, ensuring design information is delivered in line with programme, quality and client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with designers, project teams, subcontractors and clients to develop practical, buildable and cost-effective engineering solutions.

- Promote value engineering, identify design risks and opportunities, and help resolve technical and buildability challenges across multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor design progress, coordinate interfaces between civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines, and support procurement and construction teams to achieve successful project delivery.
You'll have experience coordinating design within a civil engineering, infrastructure or water environment and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
You'll also bring:
- Experience supporting the design process from tender through to construction on infrastructure or water projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction, infrastructure design, Building Regulations and multidisciplinary coordination, including M&E interfaces.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. Professional membership (such as CIOB or ICE) would be advantageous.
