Job Summary
We are looking for a caring and committed Carer to deliver exceptional support to people in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support residents with their daily activities, promoting independence where possible
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and observe any changes in residents’ health or behaviour
- Chaperone service users to appointments, outings, or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Experience
- Previous experience working within a home care setting is essential (minimum 2 years)
- Evidence of previous training required
- Training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
- Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills essential for building trust with residents and team members
