Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our reputable legal practice. The successful candidate will specialise in advising on a range of high quality private client matters, including HNW estates, trust administration, succession planning, and complex wills. Duties
- Providing expert legal advice on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and succession issues
- Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds
- Managing a caseload of private client matters efficiently and with attention to detail
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their individual needs and objectives
- Keeping abreast of relevant legislation and industry developments affecting private client work
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of the department’s expertise
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout all stages of case management
Experience
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience practising as a Private Client Solicitor or equivalent role within a recognised law firm or legal practice
- Proven track record in handling complex estate planning, trust arrangements, and probate matters
- Demonstrable negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous agreements for clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for building rapport with clients and colleagues alike
- A recognised legal qualification as a solicitor or equivalent professional accreditation in the UK
