About the Role
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Origin City. This is a hands-on section role for someone who is confident preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard during busy service.
You will be responsible for running an allocated section, completing mise en place, following recipes and preparation methods, maintaining strong food safety and allergen standards, and supporting smooth service with clear communication and good timing.
We invest in a strong training and development programme for our kitchen team, including food safety, allergen management, product knowledge, butchery awareness, preparation methods, recipes, plating standards and the story behind Origin City.

About You
- You are someone who genuinely loves food, cooking and hospitality, and wants to grow within the industry.
- You have experience in a professional kitchen and understand the importance of mise en place, timing, communication, teamwork, cleanliness, consistency and presentation.
- You have a strong interest in quality ingredients, food provenance, butchery, seafood, recipes, preparation methods, food safety, allergens and kitchen craft, or a clear willingness to develop this knowledge through training.
- You are confident following recipes and senior chef instructions, working with focus under pressure and supporting colleagues.
Pay and Benefits
- £13 per hour, plus service charge. Typical total earnings are approximately £15 to £16 per hour, depending on service charge levels.
