Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in their homes .The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised client care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through behaviour management and specialised care techniques. Full training will be provided.
- Administer medication accurately following prescribed instructions and maintain detailed records.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Drive clients to appointments or activities when necessary, maintaining a safe driving record.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to clients of all ages.
- Organised approach to caregiving duties with attention to detail in record keeping.
