A rare opportunity for a Goods-In Manager is now available at our Sheffield Depot. This role will ensure a smooth process of receiving goods and movement through to departments. You will be dealing with high volume and multiple daily deliveries. High level of accuracy is the key in this area as the whole process and stock file relies on this department. Strong management is required to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided by the goods in team. A keen eye for detail and a methodical and hands-on approach is vital within this fast-paced environment.
Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
· General management of the goods-in team.
· Booking in from suppliers and managing goods-in diary.
· Matching all deliveries with goods received note and purchase orders.
· Maintenance of the MHE asset list.
· Responsibility for all fork lift truck health and safety checks.
· Overdue orders chased and actioned.
· Overseeing deliveries, including unloading, counting and checking stock.
· Liaise with Supply Chain Management to ensure stock is moved through and space for deliveries is provided.
· Responsible for the inter-depot transfers, ensuring a quick turnaround is provided.
· Full responsibility of bulk storage and mobile racking.
· Acting of duty manager for the Sheffield Depot.
To be great in this role, you will be:
· Able to manage a team and ensure the smooth running of the goods-in area.
· Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
· Due to the size of the team an hands on approach is essential.
· Be proactive and confident in decision making.
· Take ownership of Heath & Safety responsibilities for yourself, your team and the area in which you operate.
· Have excellent attention to detail.
· Have a FLT licence, both counterbalance and reach (or prepared to obtain).
· Able to work well within a team.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. We are a 7 days operation so some weekend working will be required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
