Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team.The successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance operations of the business, assisting with payment processing, reconciliations, financial administration and reporting. Responsibilities
- Support the Management Accountant with day-to-day finance operations.
- Process payments relating to insurance premiums, settlements and commissions.
- Assist with client money and current account reconciliations across multiple currencies.
- Verify bank details and follow up with insurers regarding payment confirmations or statement requests.
- Input and maintain accurate financial data in Xero (or similar accounting systems).
- Collect and maintain financial data in spreadsheets.
- Assist with payment runs and ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Reconcile discrepancies or errors identified during processing.
- Prepare supporting documentation for board meetings and reporting packs.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners regarding financial queries.
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency across finance processes.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
