We work on major commercial construction projects, providing specialist weatherproofing solutions to some of the country's leading contractors.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, hardworking and reliable Site Fitter to join our site teams.
This is a hands-on role working on construction sites across the UK, installing specialist weatherproofing systems as part of a small site team led by a Team Leader.
Construction experience is essential, but full training in our specialist systems and processes will be provided.
The role involves regular travel, overtime and working away from home. Accommodation and working away allowances are provided.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing specialist weatherproofing systems, including rooflights, vertical penetrations and service risers
- Using tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with site preparation, installation and clean-up
- Working safely at height and following site safety requirements
- Following RAMS, PPE and COSHH requirements
- Completing site inductions and following site access requirements
- Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
- Communicating site issues, variations and updates to the Team Leader and office
- Driving company vehicles to and between sites
- Loading and securing materials, tools and equipment safely
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues
- Keeping company vehicles clean and organised
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction or site-based experience

- Ability to work safely at height and in outdoor environments
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Flexibility to travel and stay away regularly - previous experience in this is desirable
- Commitment to health and safety
Essential Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Valid CSCS card
- Based in the Walsall or Birmingham area
- Able to work at height
- Willing to travel and stay away from home regularly
- Must be insurable under the company's fleet insurance policy
Training and Progression
You'll receive full training in our specialist weatherproofing systems, tools and processes.
As your experience develops, there are opportunities to progress within the site team and work towards recognised industry qualifications, including:
- SSSTS
- PASMA
- IPAF
- NVQs
- Blue Skilled Worker CSCS card
Pay and Benefits
Starting rate: £13.15 per hour
Overtime Rates (after 40 hours per week):
- Weekdays: £17.48 per hour
- Saturday: £19.72 per hour
- Sunday: £26.30 per hour

Typical earnings: Approximately £41,000+ per year including overtime and allowances.
Working Hours
- Typical hours vary depending on the project and site location
- Expected weekly hours: 40–60
- Overtime applies after 40 hours per week
