Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation under the supervision of head chefs or kitchen managers
- Support with food safety procedures, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and portioning ingredients for cooking
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with hygiene standards
- Assist with serving food to customers or guests as required
- Help with organising supplies and restocking ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently at all times
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or culinary environments is advantageous
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
