Frenchs Fish Shop is a well-established, independent fish and chip shop in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Front of House Team Members to join our growing team.

The Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll be an important part of our customer experience. You’ll be working in a busy, fast-paced environment, serving customers and helping to ensure every order and interaction meets our high standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Preparing and serving food
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Working effectively as part of a busy team
- Helping to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish
- Completing required online training, including Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness
- Following all company food safety and customer service procedures
What we’re looking for
You don’t need previous fish & chip shop or hospitality experience — full training will be provided.

Working Hours
Your regular working days will be:
Wednesday, Friday & Sunday — 11:00am–9:00pm
During peak periods, opening hours and shifts may be extended. Additional hours are also available for those who want to work more.

Due to the finishing times of our evening shifts and the lack of public transport links in Wells-next-the-Sea, applicants must have their own reliable means of transport or suitable arrangements for getting to and from work.
