Warehouse Operative
Do to continued expansion an Opportunity has arisen for a warehouse operative working in our small but busy cold store and factory environment. The work is physically demanding and involves lifting and moving several boxes a day, stacking and breaking pallets of boxes and moving goods around a warehouse environment. You will need to break and organise boxes that arrive on pallets and move boxes as they are labelled for dispatch. You will need to palletise boxes ready for dispatch safely and securely and physically help load the vehicles manually.
The work is physically demanding and at times can be under pressure in a fast moving environment.
You should have a good skills in Maths and and the ability to read labels in English, you should be self sufficient in being able to transport to and from work. Some warehouse experience is preferred but training will be provided to candidates who who they are keen to have a career in this Industry.
We are looking for staff that are reliable and looking for a long term full time career in a warehouse/factory environment.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.00am-6.00pm and a rota working every other Sundays 9am-1pm. However you should remain flexible in your approach to finish and start times as works dictates.
Certain Seasonal times of the year (approx 4 weeks per annum) longer hours are required and expected.

Pay: From £13.57 per hour
