Vincenzo's Coffee House is an established family business in Lancaster city centre. Open 7 days a week, we serve an extensive food and drink menu.
We are looking for someone to work 2 shifts a week with us, with more shifts sometimes available in order to cover staff holidays. We are flexible on which 2 days these are; but one of the shifts MUST be on a weekday rather than weekend.
The Role:
Initial general duties will include working at a fast pace to serve food and drinks to seated customers, clearing tables, washing pots and assisting with the closing up procedure.
Training will then be given to work on the till.
Experience:
Experience in a customer facing role is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be given.
Skills:
We are looking for someone who is motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude and who enjoys working in a busy atmosphere.
We are an established business with a loyal customer base. It’s important to us that all of our staff are polite, friendly and enjoy providing great customer service.
Please note that we are a busy, fast paced café, and all of our team work hard to provide customers with their food and drinks as quickly as possible. This is a physically demanding role (you will certainly get your steps in!).
The role can be very rewarding, and we are a friendly team. Working hours are sociable, with tips, pension, holiday pay and a free meal and free drinks when on shift.
