Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Operative and/or Supervisor to join our dynamic team. These positions offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining pristine, safe, and welcoming environments across various commercial settings. As a Cleaning Operative or Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional cleaning services while leading and motivating a team to uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Your proactive approach will ensure that all cleaning operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, creating a positive impression for clients and visitors alike.
We have 2 positions available at Cleaning Operative level and Cleaning Supervisor level. Full training on-site will be provided for both roles. Hours are typically delivered between 4-8pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, offices, washrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Supervise daily cleaning operations, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards within scheduled timeframes.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of cleaning staff, providing training on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain all cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly.
- Follow health and safety regulations meticulously to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning activities.
- Work closely with your Area Supervisor manager to deliver a seamless, effective and positive service as a team.
Desired Experience
- Ideally proven experience in commercial cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough inspections and maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with team members and management.
