We’re looking for a skilled Electrician to join our Engineering Team in Elgin. This is a great opportunity to be part of a business with strong local roots and a proud heritage, while building your career in a modern food manufacturing environment.
In this role, you’ll help keep our production equipment and site services running safely and efficiently. You’ll also have the chance to grow your skills, contribute ideas, and play an important part in supporting the production of products enjoyed around the world.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on food production machinery and site equipment
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults to keep production running smoothly
- Supporting improvements and upgrades to machinery and equipment
- Working with colleagues across the business to improve safety, quality and efficiency
The Individual:
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A qualification as an Electrician, or in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience of maintaining and improving machinery and site facilities in an industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting
- An understanding of electrical drawings and engineering principles
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience with PLCs, control systems and similar technology would be an advantage, but we’re happy to provide training for the right person.
This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week at our Elgin site. It’s an excellent opportunity to join a supportive maintenance team and build your career with a well-established and respected business.
