Braes Dundee is looking for an ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic Supervisor / Team Leader to join our team and play an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
As a Supervisor / Team Leader, you’ll be a key member of the venue team, working closely with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the venue and help create an energetic, welcoming and high-performing environment.
You’ll take responsibility for leading the team during shifts, maintaining excellent operational standards and ensuring every customer has a brilliant experience — from casual drinks and live sport to busy student nights and major events.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Leading and supporting the team during shifts, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Motivating and developing team members to deliver excellent service and performance.
- Taking responsibility for the venue during shifts when required.
- Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the venue.
- Delivering consistently high standards of customer service.
- Helping drive sales and maximise opportunities throughout each shift.
- Supporting the delivery of events, promotions and student-focused activities.
- Creating a fun, energetic and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Managing busy periods effectively and making confident decisions under pressure.
- Supporting cash handling, stock control and other operational procedures.
- Ensuring the venue is clean, safe and presented to a high standard.
- Following licensing, health & safety and company procedures at all times.
- Dealing confidently and professionally with customer queries or issues.
- Communicating effectively with the management team and colleagues.
- Helping maintain a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
- Setting a strong example through your own attitude, work ethic and customer service.
Who We’re Looking For
You may already be working as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Bartender or experienced team member and be ready to take the next step in your hospitality career.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and wants to make a difference.
You’ll be someone who leads by example, gets stuck in when things get busy and brings positive energy to every shift. You’ll play an important role in helping make Braes one of Dundee’s favourite student destinations.
Pay: £13.06-£13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
