Vehicle Technician
Location: RW Cars Ltd, Unit 8 Prime Way Park, Derby DE1 3QB
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)

We are looking for a motivated and reliable PDI Technician to join our busy preparation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who is looking to build a long-term career in the motor trade.
The Role
As a PDI Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle inspections, servicing, and preparation work to ensure our vehicles meet the high standards expected by our customers.
Duties Include
- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on used vehicles
- Completing vehicle health checks
- Replacing bulbs, wiper blades, batteries, brakes and other service items
- Checking fluid levels and tyre condition
- Performing servicing and maintenance tasks
- Diagnosing and reporting defects
- Ensuring vehicles are prepared to retail standards
- Maintaining accurate inspection records
- Working closely with the Aftersales and Preparation teams
- Mechanical Repairs
What We're Looking For
- Previous mechanical experience is essential
- Experience in a garage, fast-fit centre, vehicle preparation or servicing environment
- Ability to carry out servicing, inspections and minor repairs
- Own basic hand tools required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
