Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Fish and Chips Staff to join our busy team. Duties
- Prepare and cook fish and chips according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table
- Take orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and upsell menu items where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining area in line with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and ensure all ingredients are stored correctly
- Assist with general kitchen duties including cleaning utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is required willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good time management skills to meet service deadlines during peak hours
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
