Kiki Indian Restaurant in Bournemouth is currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant / KP (Kitchen Porter) to join our friendly and hardworking team.
Job Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant / KP, your main duties will include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (when required)
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, fridges, and storage areas
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service hours
- Ensuring hygiene and health & safety standards are followed
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or KP experience preferred (but not essential)
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
