Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-time Experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage essential financial record-keeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting processes. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth financial operations of our business.
Duties
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions using Sage accounting software
- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
- Reconcile bank statements and financial reports regularly to ensure data integrity
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Support year-end closing activities
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents for easy retrieval and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Sage accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices and financial reporting standards
- Prior experience in a bookkeeping role is essential
