Contractor - Self Employed Position
Consistent ongoing work
Rowm is looking for experienced vehicle transporter drivers to join our growing vehicle logistics operation.
We are specifically looking for people who have previous experience transporting vehicles using an SUV or similar towing vehicle with a vehicle trailer.
This is not simply a driving role. You will represent Rowm when dealing with dealerships, businesses and customers, so professionalism, communication, presentation and reliability are extremely important.
What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for:
- Collecting and delivering vehicles throughout the UK
- Driving SUV and vehicle-trailer combinations
- Safely loading, securing and unloading vehicles
- Completing vehicle condition checks and photographs
- Communicating with customers and dealership staff
- Providing accurate updates to the Rowm operations team
- Following jobs and instructions through the Rowm driver app
- Carrying out vehicle and trailer safety checks
- Reporting delays, damage, access problems or other issues immediately
- Keeping the towing vehicle, trailer and equipment clean and presentable
Who we're looking for
We are particularly interested in drivers with previous experience in:
- Vehicle transportation
- Vehicle recovery

- Motorsport transportation
Previous loaded vehicle-trailer experience is strongly preferred.
You should be:
- Professional and presentable
- Clean and well organised
- Confident speaking with customers
- Excellent at managing your time
- Punctual and dependable
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable working with an operations team throughout the day
- Comfortable using a smartphone and driver app
- Able to follow detailed instructions and processes
- Careful when handling customer vehicles
- Comfortable with early starts and long-distance driving
- Available for consistent work approximately 5 to 6 days per week
What matters to us:
Professionalism
You will regularly interact with dealerships and customers. We expect drivers to arrive clean, appropriately dressed, polite and professional.
Communication
We operate a live logistics network. If you're running late, waiting at a site or experiencing a problem, we need to know immediately rather than having to chase you.
Time management
Our customers rely on collection and delivery windows. You need to plan ahead, understand your route and communicate early when something changes.
Vehicle care
You will be trusted with high-value customer vehicles. Careful inspections, correct photographs, safe loading and proper securing of vehicles are essential.
Following instructions
Our processes are there for a reason. Drivers must follow the required app steps, operational instructions and vehicle-handling procedures consistently.
What we offer
- £14 to £18 per hour depending on experience
- Consistent work for approximately 5 to 6 days per week
- Regular vehicle movements
- Modern operational and tracking systems
- Support from our live operations team
- Opportunity to become one of our preferred drivers
- Performance incentives
- Driver referral incentives
- Opportunities to progress into senior or regional lead-driver responsibilities
Recruitment process
Because of the type of work we do, applicants may be asked to complete:
- Initial application screening
