About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Precious Metal Recovery Operative to join our growing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling operation.
This role involves dismantling and processing used IT and electronic equipment to recover valuable materials and components in an environmentally responsible manner. You will work within a fast-paced operational environment handling a wide range of technology products including computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and telecommunications devices.

Key Responsibilities
- Dismantling electronic and IT equipment safely and efficiently
- Identifying and separating recyclable and valuable materials
- Recovering components containing precious metals and reusable parts
- Sorting materials into the correct recycling streams
- Following environmental and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Supporting warehouse and operational teams where required
- Assisting with general ITAD processing activities
What We’re Looking For
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a hands-on warehouse/workshop environment
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of electronics or IT equipment is beneficial but not essential
Previous experience within recycling, warehouse, manufacturing, production, or IT environments would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
