we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and equipment.
- Cook meats, seafood, poultry, and other items on the grill or in ovens.
- Check food quality and temperature.
- Set up workstations with required ingredients and other supplies.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, or in other similar roles.
- Understanding of hygiene standards associated with preparing food and cooking methods
- Cooking skills with experience in various methods of cooking (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task.
- A strong work ethic and great time management skills are a must!
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
