An exciting opportunity to join our service team as part of the first UK supplier of Sumitomo Excavators.
Job Role:
•Repairs, maintenance and warranty work for Sumitomo Excavators and Merlo Telehandlers both on site and in our workshop ensuring high standards and customer requirements are met.
- P.D.I of machines ensuring site conditions and safety instructions are adhered to.
- Undertaking of detailed inspections of machines.
- Use of diagnostic equipment to aid fault finding.
- Working to deadlines to ensure customers demand is met.
- Completing electronic job cards and work sheets for all work undertaken.
- Performing all duties safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Skills and Experience Required
- Professional qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) Plant/Agriculture is beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of plant and all systems related to plant machinery.
- Full UK Driving license.
- English, basic proficiency verbal and written.
- Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in plant/agricultural industry. Main dealer experience is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, work accuracy and quality orientated.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
- Motivated and dynamic self-starter.
- A committed and positive attitude along with an obvious customer focus.
