Job Overview
We are seeking two experienced TIG Stainless Steel Welders to join a project in Slough, with an immediate start on Monday. This is a 2-week contract initially, with the potential for further work for the right candidates.
The successful candidates will have proven experience in through-bore stainless steel pipe welding and be capable of producing high-quality welds to industry standards within a data centre environment.
Duties
- Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel pipework to a high standard
- Complete through-bore welds in accordance with project specifications
- Read and work from technical drawings and welding requirements
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Work efficiently to project deadlines while maintaining workmanship standards
- Adhere to site health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised working area
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Current TIG Stainless Steel Coding/Certification
- Proven through-bore pipe welding experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and available for an immediate start
Contract Details
- Location: Slough
- Start Date: Monday
- Duration: 2 weeks initially, with the possibility of extension
- Positions Available: 2
- Rate: Competitive, depending on experience
