We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant - Reception to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with excellent phone etiquette
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly
- Assist in managing the front desk operations during shifts to ensure smooth daily functioning
- Support guests throughout their stay, resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour and excellent organisational abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service principles is advantageous
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic administrative tasks is beneficial
