Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Burger Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality burgers and related menu items in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook burgers according to standard recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in the organisation of the kitchen to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and quality in all dishes served
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Support meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner when necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
- Experience with meal preparation, especially in a fast-paced setting, is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and ovens, is desirable
- Prior experience in serving customers or working in a hospitality environment will be considered an asset
