Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team as subcontractor, supporting various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills. Duties
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
- Performing general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and inspecting equipment
- Assisting with construction activities including site preparation and material handling
- Ensuring work areas are safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Supporting team members with various labouring tasks as required on-site
Skills
- Experience in construction and building
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating machinery and tools
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment
- Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit with good stamina for manual labour tasks
- Strong teamwork ethic with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
