We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. Duties
- Conduct regular cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed to ensure facilities remain fully operational.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the relevant management team promptly.
- Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals in designated areas.
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work duties and client confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across different environments.
