Job Overview - Pizza Restaurant / Takeaway
We are a busy pizza restaurant and takeaway dedicated to providing delicious food and excellent customer service. We are looking for reliable and friendly Delivery Drivers to join our in-store team and help us deliver orders quickly, safely, and with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hot, fresh food to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service at the doorstep
- Assist in the store during quieter delivery periods (e.g., helping with food prep, cleaning, or customer service)
- Handle cash and card payments securely when required
- Ensure deliveries are accurate and orders are complete before leaving the store
- Follow all road safety rules and company delivery procedures
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence (car, moped, or motorbike depending on delivery method)
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (if not using a company vehicle/moped)
- Good knowledge of local roads and ability to use GPS for navigation
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends
