Patient Advisor Supervisor - Full time 37.5hrs
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reception Supervisor to join our busy and friendly GP practice.
This is a key leadership role where you will oversee the reception team, ensuring high-quality patient service and smooth day-to-day operations within the practice.
You will act as the central point of contact for patients, supporting both clinical and administrative teams while maintaining an efficient, professional, and compassionate front-of-house service.

Main duties of the job
- Supervise and support the reception team, ensuring high standards of performance
- Support staff training, development, and rota planning
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with practice policies
- Support practice management with service improvements and patient engagement
- Answering phone calls to respond to patient queries and managing appointments
- Handling incoming patient emails
- Ensuring all relevant correspondence is scanned and saved accurately into patient files on EMIS
- Assist in data collection for practice performance indicators.
- Ad hoc administration tasks
About you
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has prior experience working within a GP practice
- An understanding of EMIS Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work within a team Caring and empathetic nature
- Ability to remain in pressurised situations
