THE ROLE
The VR Operative role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being very hands on and having a lot of variety in their day!
An excellent opportunity has arisen for to join our Sheet Metal Workshop Team at CAME’s Hemel Hempstead facility. CAME specialise in the manufacture and distribution of security products and to enhance the product range for our customers we manufacture locally Stainless-Steel door entry panels, inclusive of bespoke designs, back boxes, posts and an associated range of vandal resistant products to complement our Intercom product offering.
We are looking for somebody who is familiar with a full production environment and assembly line. Able to work unaided to technical drawings and carry out the fabrication of stainless-steel sheet metal products typically 0.8mm thick to exacting dimensions and a high standard of aesthetic finish!
Do You Offer?
- Experience working within a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment?
- Experience using a stud welder?
- Worked with Laser Etching equipment
- Experience of light mechanical assembly

- A basic salary of up to £25,200 per annum, dependant on experience.
- A bonus scheme of up to £1,200 per annum
