Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders promptly to customers’ homes or businesses
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and ensure proper handling during transit
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing friendly service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to maintain a secure driving record
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle
- Assist in preparing orders when necessary, including loading and organizing deliveries
- Complete delivery logs and report any issues or incidents to management immediately
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or commercial driving is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling food bags, boxes, or supplies during deliveries
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics processes is a plus
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions and navigating urban or rural areas efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries without compromising safety
