The Rye bakery provide products to all our Jempson Locals, Cafes, Rye Bakeries and wholesale customers.
The Role:
A rare opportunity has become available within our Bakery department due to retirement.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and friendly Bakery Packing Assistant to join our team at Peasmarsh. Ensuring our freshly baked bread, rolls and morning goods are correctly packed, labelled and displayed on our shelves to the highest standard.
This is a physical role that requires you to be on your feet throughout the shift, working as part of a busy and supportive bakery team.
Hours
- 35 hours per week over 5 days
- Saturday working is required
- Wednesdays are your designated day off
- Shifts are 6am – 1pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break
Additional hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness.

No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Please note: Own transport is essential, as there is no public transport available to the bakery.
