Location: Grays
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Basic plus bonus
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional dealership workshop.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Technician looking for stable employment, ongoing training and genuine career progression within an established main dealer.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out routine servicing and repairs
- Following manufacturer service schedules and repair procedures
- Identifying the correct repair methods and parts required
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
- Road testing vehicles when required
- Completing warranty work in line with company procedures
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Working efficiently to agreed timeframes
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting colleagues and working effectively as part of a team
- Keeping your technical knowledge and skills up to date
- Attending manufacturer training courses where required
About You
We’re looking for a Technician who:
- Level 3 Qualified (Level 2 with experience with Clutches, Cambelts, Timing chains etc also considered)
- Has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Has experience servicing and repairing modern vehicles
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Can work effectively in a busy workshop environment
- Is reliable, professional and motivated
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Is committed to ongoing training and development
- Holds a full UK driving licence
