Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and efficient service experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including giving correct change.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying management of inventory needs.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times, adhering to health regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions confidently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
