Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, creating an enjoyable experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible serving practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Follow food safety procedures when handling snacks or complementary items
- Assist with organising events or special promotions as required
Experience
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment is essential
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring repeat business
