Cemcor Limited is seeking a motivated and reliable Laboratory Process Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the production process through laboratory testing, quality control, and process monitoring.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Record, analyse, and report test results accurately.
- Monitor production processes and provide feedback to operational teams.
- Collect and prepare samples for testing.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure all laboratory procedures are carried out in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the laboratory.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Good standard of education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics and a Science subject.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control systems.
- Experience working within a process manufacturing industry.
