The CNC Operator is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process within the CNC team, producing steel doors through the safe and efficient operation of CNC and press machinery. The role involves selecting and setting appropriate CNC programmes and tooling, carrying out quality checks, loading and unloading materials, maintaining machinery, and assisting with general workshop duties.
The successful candidate will have experience in steel sheet production or metalworking and demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to quality standards. They must be able to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, work to deadlines, and maintain accuracy while operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role Purpose
- Support all aspects of the manufacturing process within the CNC team to produce steel doors utilising press machinery.

- Select the correct CNC program and loading and setting the correct tooling
- Operate all machinery in a safe and effective manner

Work to defined tolerances
- Daily checks and general cleaning of the machines and tooling

Carry out QC checks and inspections o Loading and unloading materials
- Fork lift truck operation
- Assisting with other workshop duties as required
- Previous experience in steel sheet production or metal work
