The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Guest Experience & Café Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. As one of the first people our guests meet, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every visit is enjoyable from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include preparing drinks and serving food in our café, supervising our soft play area, supporting children’s craft activities, assisting with VR and escape room experiences, and helping to keep the venue clean, safe and running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
Working Hours
Full Time Or Part Time
Sunday – Saturday
Typical shift hours are 9:30am -2pm 1pm – Close or 9:30- Close.
Occasionally, shifts may finish slightly earlier depending on business needs, but team members should generally expect to be available for the full shift.
Pay
£12.75 – £13.75 per hour, depending on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests and providing a warm, friendly first impression.
- Preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold drinks, light meals and snacks.
- Supervising the soft play area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
- Supporting children’s craft activities and encouraging engagement.
- Assisting with the setup and operation of our VR experiences and escape room sessions.
- Handling bookings, payments and general front-of-house duties.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food hygiene throughout the venue.
- Working as part of the team to ensure the venue operates smoothly each day.

What We’re Looking For

- Ideally based locally to Enfield and looking for a long-term opportunity.
Experience
Essential:
- At least two year’s experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, retail, leisure or a similar environment.
Desirable:
- Experience in a café or coffee shop.
- Experience working within a children’s attraction, soft play centre or family entertainment venue.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Basic barista experience.
While experience is important, we’re ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude, who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a friendly and growing team.
